Lejos Rusia, founded in 2022 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, stand as a mix of dark post-punk, dark-wave and synth-pop. Dark, yet danceable.
The project was initially created as a formless side music endeavor by the visual artist Daniel Arnaldo-Roman, who comes from a Black Metal backgroung with his studio project and one man band Erasmo Solar. Sometime later the singer of the successful puertorrican synthpop band Los Walters, Luis López Varona comes along and join the project as the main singer and lyricist bringing to the mixture the melodic part that made the music whole.
